A study of the writer H.D. (Hilda Doolitle), between the years 1913 and 1961. The thesis examined the way that H.D. shared ideas with other women writers within a “public sphere”. H.D. was analysed by Freud, and the thesis included ways that writers shared ideas about the emerging field of psychoanalysis.
